Not having experienced a pregnancy (and not wanting to), I am a little confused about the details at the end. Did she experience tasty regret/guilt pains due to taking the epidural? Did something happen to the baby?

What I liked best, and what drove this piece on for me, was the clever play with the demon's voice: when it was active, when it dropped to make the scene progress, when it vanished, waiting for the perfect moment to collect.
